Since the beginning of the Life Safety Program in 1965 Sven Dahlquist Architecture (under several evolutionary names) has served 15 suburban School Districts to understand, interpret and help develop the State of Illinois program and use it creatively to correct health, environmental and safety defects in their buildings. For the past few years, we have been completing two 10-year life safety programs for different schools in River Forest School District 90 and Franklin Park School District 84. Work implemented in such programs include new roofs, doors, high efficiency windows, and updating of electrical and mechanical systems for energy management. Since 1933, Sven Dahlquist Architecture, Inc. continues a tradition three generations long of providing the highest quality service available in the profession.
